
Neil Smith
Regional Director, Airclaims Asia Pacific
Neil’s aviation career began as a Technician for Hawker Siddeley Aviation, then as a Flight Test Engineer and a Missile Trials Engineer at BAe. He worked as an aircraft maintenance engineer for Britannia Airways obtaining licences and moving into supervision/management. He held the position of Quality Assurance Superintendent/Acting Manager at Royal Brunei Airlines before joining Airclaims Singapore in 1991 where he has gained much experience of regional claims handling activities.
Phil Oxby
Regional Director, Airclaims Services (Far East) Pte Ltd
Phil’s career in aviation spans over forty years, approximately half with large UK and Far East airlines. In nearly 20 years with Airclaims he has worked in their UK, USA, Australian and Singapore offices with the last 12 years in Singapore. Phil has extensive knowledge and experience of claims handling in the Far East.
Kevin Betts
Resident Director, Senior Surveyor
Kevin’s aviation career began in the Royal Air Force. He has since held various technical, supervisory and management posts with Hawker Siddeley, Britannia Airways, Guinness Peat and Royal Brunei Airlines. Kevin is a UK licensed engineer with a Diploma in Management Studies. He first joined Airclaims Singapore in 1998 and has gained much experience in dealing with claims in the region.
Andy Pickford
Surveyor
Andy gained experience with the Royal Air Force where he worked on large transport type aircraft travelling extensively worldwide. He then worked with a major airline becoming involved in Boeing aircraft acceptance and then in line maintenance as station maintenance manager and duty engineer. He holds a private pilot’s licence.
Ajit Kumar Kokkeri
Surveyor
Ajit has over 20 years experience within aviation, and joined Airclaims from Kingfisher Airlines where he was Contracts and Insurance Manager. Prior to this, Ajit served in the Indian Navy as a Commissioned Officer, out of which nearly 18 years were as a Technical Naval Aviator. During this time, he gained experience in areas such as aircraft accident investigation, risk management procedures, maintenance and repair. Ajit is based in Bangalore, India.
