Geoff Hirst
General Manager, Director
Commenced apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in 1980, later became licensed and progressed into management roles in aircraft maintenance facilities. Geoff has experience in scheduled maintenance and structural rebuilds and modifications of a wide range of aircraft types from single engine and small helicopters to business jets and commuter aircraft. Since joining Airclaims in 1998 Geoff has progressed to become Manager of the Australian office and has managed claims on a side range of aircraft types from light aircraft and helicopters to Boeing 747’s.
Adrian Cate
Surveyor
Served engineering apprenticeship with Australian Airlines (later to become Qantas domestic operations) gaining experience in various workshops including the heavy maintenance section performing maintenance on narrow body jets before transferring to Qantas where Adrian undertook airframe and engine rectification work on their wide body fleet. Adrian is a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer on general aviation types and since joining Airclaims in 2002 Adrian has gained much experience in conducting surveys and managing insurance claims. He is studying to become a Certified Insurance Professional.
Hans Bannink
Surveyor
Hans has over 40 years of aviation experience in Australia and worldwide. He has owned and operated aircraft maintenance businesses for fixed wing and more recently helicopters, and has enormous experience in the General Aviation field.
