Nigel Yonge joined Airclaims in 1985 and manages Airclaims’ activities in New Zealand. Based in Wellington Nigel also actively handles aviation losses throughout the region. Prior to Airclaims, he worked as a professional pilot with the Civil Aviation Calibration and VIP Flight, operating throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific, before joining the New Zealand Office of Air Accident Investigation. Nigel’s time at the New Zealand Office of Air Accident Investigation included three years of secondment to the Australian Bureau of Air Safety Investigation as Chief Inspector of Air Accidents in Papua New Guinea.
